12-29-21 - Butterflies

I called Harrison to share with Him the encounter I had in my studio the night before. He explained to me that, as a caterpillar sheds the old to become a butterfly, so shall those who come in contact with the presence of God on the campus’. This was a wonderful visual of what beauty springs forth from a surrendered heart. Later that evening I went to a beautiful Christmas light display with my family in the woods on maine. There were reindeer shaped lights, polar bears, gifts and trees. All glowing with a beautiful amalgamation of colors. Amidst this massive display was a single butterfly. I couldn’t help but notice the one display that wasn’t Christmas related whatsoever was a butterfly… I texted Harrison a picture captioned “at this point God is just having fun”.
